Our proposal considers the natural conditions of the site, existing building materials, sustainable design, thinking and using public space, and understanding of the surrounding urban space. In response to these complex factors, a friendly, all-purpose, everyday building that integrates with the lives of surrounding residents with the theme of green space and provides a comfortable environment for all users is presented. To this end, a clear atrium space, circulation, and better accessibility environment are integrated into this design.

The architectural design reference also pays homage to the principles, rules, and materials of the original building. The glass brick exterior wall and the corresponding floor structure on the southeastern façade of the original building were appropriately removed and reintroduced to the central core of the building. The barrier elements such as the entrance and elevator connecting the new and old buildings are clearly shown.

According to the government's plan to revitalize sports for the disabled, based on the creation of a barrier-free environment to provide customized services to the disabled, an underground parking lot and buildings on the east and west wings were added to the current Geumduri Sports Center, and each facility was connected through a beautiful courtyard space.

In summary, this design introduces natural design to create many green pockets. It alleviates many contradictions in surrounding urban design, advocates inclusive design, improves civic spirit and living needs, improves spatial connectivity and guidance, and creates architectural design with respect for the past, understanding of the present situation, and future development needs.

이번 설계는 대상지의 자연조건, 기존 건축자재, 지속가능한 설계, 공공공간의 사고와 활용, 주변 도시공간에 대한 이해를 충분히 고려하여있다.이러한 복합적인 요인에 대응하여,녹색 공간을 주제로 주변 주민들의 생활에 융합하여,모든 방면의 사용자에게 제공하는 만능 일상의 친근한 가건물을 제시하였다.이를 위해 명확한 아트리움 공간과 동선, 더 나은 접근성 환경이 이번설계에 통합되었있다.

건축 설계 참고는 또한 원건축의 원칙, 규칙 및 재료에 경의를 표한다.원건물의 남동쪽 입면의 유리 벽돌 외벽과 해당 바닥 구조를 적절하게 제거하고 건물 중앙코어에 다시 도입하다.신·구건물을 연결하는 입구, 승강구 등 장애요소를 선명하게 보여준다.

정부의 장애인체육 활성화 계획에 따르면 장애인에게 맞춤형 서비스를 제공하기 위한 무장애 환경 조성을 바탕으로,현재의 금두리 스포츠센터에 지하주차장, 동서양익의 건물을 증축하여 아름다운 중정공간의 공간을 통해 각 시설을 연결하였다.
