The project Flow of Green, Stream and Hill focuses on the essential idea of the proposal in response to project brief, firstly considering local ecological design, secondly integrating local feature of topography and landforms, accommodating three different programs and spaces merge into one complex, and lastly creating innovative voids and pocket spaces for urban environment. The scheme understood the importance of the Eco-link connection between park no.13, no.14, and no.15, analysed current proposed environmental context, using common area and programs to both connect and separate museum and library at the same time, having them juxtaposition with one another, offering all visitors an unique and Eco-friendly journal.

The scheme creates a new terrain, which engages with its urban and landscape context on all sides. The primary access leads to the water feature and the secondary accesses offer additional connections from streets to the lake. The proposal delivers a well-rounded response to the brief and the complexities of the programs, creates a single integrated complex. The response is inspired by the local landforms and topography, has a generous range of outdoor spaces that accommodate a variety of uses and are well integrated with indoor spaces. The use of water, landscaped spaces and opportunities for engagement with multiple art forms and major events creates a welcoming arrival point. The visitor journey through the primary link to the central lake provides opportunities for engagement with landscapes, central lake, park no.14 and exciting views into the building. Following on such logic, secondary Eco-link accesses are located at west and south ends, providing direct access from street to the central lake in park no.14, while linking both museum and library together.

Therefore, the entire complex consists of central public space (common areas of retail, arrival and reception), museum to the western side, and library to the southern side. The rooftop is fully accessible from the planned Eco-friendly bridge from park no.13 and park no.15, accessible spiral ramp for disabled and all visitors is available and located in the central public, with an additional public staircase at the southeast end offering free access from street level to rooftop level. The scheme is inspired by the environmental context, change of levels and local topography, offering and maximizing all ecological opportunities of vegetations and plants for varies of local spices and animals, working and linking closely with central lake from park no. 14, providing excellent environment to against local heat island effect, increasing the life quality for local residents, and introducing a new landmark of city of Incheon to visitors and tourists of the concept of Eco environmental-friendly city.
